Sara Sálamo presents the Aviator and Miss Anekke collections

The world is full of stories, adventures to go on, and dreams to make come true. Luckily, I am not the only one who firmly believes in this and during my travels I have had the opportunity to meet marvellous people, like Sara Sálamo.

Sara Sálamo, as well as being a good friend and a born dreamer, is an actress and a model. Her current projects include promoting a new film that has just come out, Everybody Knows, in which she has been lucky enough to work with, the one and only, Penélope Cruz and Bardem. And if that wasn’t enough, she is the new ambassador of the Anekke winter 2018/2019 collection. It couldn’t have a better representative than her!

Sara presented the new Anekke Aviator and Miss Anekke collections, which have been designed and made with tender loving care and special dedication by my team. During the Intergift trade fair held in Madrid last week, Sara talked about what the designs are based on, those that (as you already know), depict some of my adventures.

Anekke Aviator: an ideal collection for travellers

This collection, which is jam-packed with details in each of its pieces, is inspired by Amelie Earhart, the first woman to fly over the Pacific Ocean. An enterprising and brave woman, like us, who reminds us that the only way to make our dreams come true is to try.

A collection in which you will find models that have an aviator air to them, with the aircraft inspired patches that predominate, along with meticulous embroidery and printed designs. And of course, images in which Towanda and I are getting ready to fly.

Miss Anekke: and let your imagination go

When we connect with our most childish, creative and purest side, many of us feel that we are capable of anything thanks to our imagination. The Miss Anekke collection will connect you to this part in you.

This collection is distinguished by a careful combination of colours and materials, which among those that depict a city and a story, will definitely whisk you off to your childhood. In it Towanda and I, thanks to our balloons, fly over all those dreams that will wake up as soon as your imagination starts going.

A wide variety of models

There is a wide variety of bags and backpacks in both collections, along with accessories (such as wallets or pens). One of the latest additions to both collections is a bum bag model, which Sara says is one of her favourites this season. And mine too!

All the models of both collections are made from vegan leather, something that has become essential for women like Sara (who is also a vegetarian), or for me, because I love animals. Moreover, the supreme quality of the materials and their finishes, means that when you buy an Anekke bag you are buying a companion of life experiences, one which will definitely last for a long time.
